Adobe Lightroom Basic and Intermediate Level: Two-Day Training with Marty Grivjack

This course is divided in two parts: Basics and intermediate. You may register to attend any one day or both.

Day One - Lightroom Basics: This is an essential Lightroom class that shows you how to set up Lightroom, efficiently navigate its robust system of editing modules and lets you see how to integrate Lightroom into your photographic workflow, including:

• Workflow fundamentals
• Catalogs: one or many?
• Initial Lightroom Setup Preferences
• Importing, keywording, adding metadata
• Editing: rating, sorting, labeling and exculpating images
• Collections: the BEST way to organize images
• Lightroom Navigation: Using EASY shortcuts for speed and efficiency
• Shooting Tethered: the “other” way to import images
• Image storage on your drives: What’s best?
• Image archival: protecting your image assets and disaster prevention
• Develop basics

You should bring your laptop (or rooftop computer), power supply, a tablet if you have one, and note taking tools…there will be LOTS of great information, tips and efficiency shortcuts you DO NOT want to miss.

Day Two - Hands-On, Intermediate-Level Workshop! 
Bring your MAC or PC laptop and Lightroom so you can actually learn and perform the tasks presented. 
This is the class you have been waiting for!

Intermediate-Level Skill Set guidelines 
You should already be able to import, keyword and organize your images. A basic understanding of  "Export" is recommended.
